Why we built it, and what we do differently.
Hospitals have plenty of software: a patient portal here, an EHR there, a billing package and a spreadsheet for the board. EziiDesk puts the clinical and operational day in one system, with a patient portal built on the same data, and AI that runs on models hosted by us or by the hospital. Here's how we see the landscape.
Where hospitals get stuck today
Consumer apps
Hold a patient's records, but do not run the hospital's wards, pharmacy or billing.
Enterprise EHRs
Deep and capable, with implementations sized for large health systems.
AI point tools
Help with one task, such as documentation, but are not the hospital's system of record.
Marketplaces
Connect patients to doctors, but do not run inpatient care.
One connected suite
Clinical work, billing and the patient portal on the same data.

Consumer health and national infrastructure
Consumer health app
Personal health record app, often with national health-ID integration and teleconsultation.
Strength: Health-ID integration and a simple consumer experience.
Where we differ: A consumer app. EziiDesk runs the hospital itself: wards, pharmacy, lab and billing.
ABHA (Ayushman Bharat)
India's national health ID and consent framework.
Strength: National-scale infrastructure with a regulatory mandate.
Where we differ: An identity and consent layer, not a hospital application. ABDM integration is planned for EziiSuite.
Hospital & clinical platforms
Enterprise EHR or legacy HIS
Enterprise clinical systems used by many large health systems.
Strength: Deep clinical workflows and a wide footprint.
Where we differ: Sized and priced for large health systems. EziiDesk is built for a single hospital, and EziiSuite pairs the hospital system with its own patient portal.
Documentation AI tool
AI for clinical documentation.
Strength: Saves physician time on documentation.
Where we differ: A point solution beside an EHR. EziiAssist is built into EziiDesk and runs on models hosted by us or by the hospital.
Generic booking app
Doctor-discovery marketplace, often with clinic software.
Strength: Large doctor directories and well-known consumer brands.
Where we differ: Built around clinics and appointments. EziiDesk covers emergency, inpatient care, theatre and hospital billing.
Typical patient-portal add-on
A patient portal that comes with the hospital's enterprise EHR.
Strength: Real-time data from the EHR it belongs to, familiar to many patients.
Where we differ: Works with the EHR it comes with. EziiCloud is the patient portal for EziiDesk hospitals, in the languages of the hospital's country.
